104-year-old coronavirus survivor discharged from hospital in Penza

Penza, 30 March 2021. PenzaNews. A 104-year-old woman who was admitted to Penza Clinical Hospital No. 4 about two weeks ago having been tested positive for COVID-19 was discharged from the hospital on Tuesday, March 30. This is stated in a message of the press service of the regional Ministry of Health.

“During her treatment, the long-living woman was in the ward with her daughter and son-in-law, who were also infected. Today, doctors assess the elderly patient's condition for her underlying disease as satisfactory, and she and her daughter are going home together,” the text says.
According to Nina Nazarova, deputy chief medical officer at hospital No.4, the 104-year-old woman received conservative comprehensive therapy.
She noted that at the time of discharge, the woman and her daughter had been given all necessary advice.
“They will be monitored on an outpatient basis for the time being,” Nina Nazarova explained.
