“Three more floors of the adjacent building No. 7 were added to the existing infectious disease in-patient department of Burdenko Penza Regional Hospital. It is now a single coronavirus hospital with a common crossing,” the text said.

It adds that the number of intensive care beds increased to 72.

“The repurposed 9-storey building of the in-patient department of the region’s main hospital with 700 infectious disease beds and a 60-bed intensive care unit are already 100% full,” the statement said.
