A Guinean and a Cameroonian cheated three Uzbeks in Penza

Penza, 25 May 2011. PenzaNews. The Court of the Pervomaisky district of Penza delivered its verdict to a native of the Republic of Guinea and to a native of the Republic of Cameroon, which found them guilty of cheating on especially large scale. Realizing a criminal scheme, they misled the three Uzbeks living in Penza and engaged in selling water melons in the Central Market.

The press-service of the Court said: "The criminals introduced as the businessmen from the Republic of Haiti and his translator offered to do a joint business. To assure them that everything will be all right and to explain the process of the future business, they demonstrated to the victims how two segments of paper painted black by means of a special liquid and of squeezer were transformed in U.S. dollars."

Being impressed by what their saw, Uzbeks believed them and gave 50 thsd dollars. "Businessmen" promised to return the money after cleaning by using the chemical substance with a particular additional charge for their assistance.

The press-service of the department said: "After a number of manipulations the criminals secretly replaced a package with money by a package with the segments of black paper and strongly recommended the victims to put it under a squeezer for two days avoiding contact with the light."

The attackers were detained by police in the city of Kursk in the far direction train.

The court appointed the Guinean and the Cameroonian 5 years of imprisonment.
