Penza cakes manufacturer was fined for the low quality of goods

Penza, 2 June 2011. PenzaNews. The department of consumer protection agency Rospotrebnadzor of the Penza region brought to administrative responsibility LLC "Tortberry" in the form of the penalty for deceiving consumers. During inspection the facts of supplying to shops the cakes of low-quality were revealed.

According to the press service of the department, a woman who had found out a metal screw of 40 mm length in a cream layer of the cake "Biscuit with dried apricots" complained to the department of Rospotrebnadzor. As the result of inspection, the confectioneries of the same manufacturer with mold were revealed in the shop where the given cake had been bought.

As the inspection carried out, the visible without microscopic examination mold was found in the cakes "Jogurtovy with a bilberry" and "Biscuit with dried apricots".

The press service said: "After comparing the information about the sizes of colonies, date of production of the cake, conditions of their realization, the conclusion was made that confectionery had been delivered to the shop with the mold fungi which had already begun to grow".

The official of shop was brought to administrative responsibility; penal sanctions weree applied for inadequate control of the quality of realized production.

The press service of the Department said: "Within administrative investigation the commission visited LLC "Tortberry". At the presence of the witness, it was fixed that manufacturing of confectionery was not carried out in the given address, there weren’t any industrial premises belonging or rented for manufacturing of pies".

The information was sent to the law enforcement authorities of the Penza region for taking essential actions concerning LLC "Tortberry" and for revealing the actual address of confectionery manufacturing.
