Penza, 14 June 2011. PenzaNews. The investigatory department of the Investigatory Committee of Russia in the Penza region began an investigation of the 10-year-old child’s death in the river Penzyatka on Monday, June, 13th. According to the preliminary results, the boy was at the river together with his friends without adults.

The deputy of the Chief Assistant of communications with mass-media of the department of the Investigatory Committee of the Russian Federation in the Penza region Maria Orlova said: "During the walk the boy fell from the breakage down into the 4 meters deep river. His contemporaries tried to help him, but it was impossible to rescue the child. The death of the minor was because of the closing of the respiratory organ by water".

She noticed that the investigations would be carried out on this case; the circumstances of the case would be studied.

Maria Orlova said: "The investigating authorities will make a procedural conclusion after carrying out all details".
