The stage of assurance of the lists of candidates of the State Duma of the Russian Federation presented by officially registered political parties was finished on Wednesday, October, 5th. The secretary of the Central election committee of Russia Nikolay Konkin informed about it. He noticed that all seven lists of political parties were signed in the Central Electoral Committee in time.

Nikolay Konkin said: "If the registered candidate is a state or municipal employee or a head of mass-media he must leave. Thus nobody can refuse him to leave and his vacation is included in his seniority".

He also explained the procedure of mail voting.

Nikolay Konkin said: "Voting by mail will not be applied on federal elections. Such voting will be applied on December, 4th, 2011 only on regional elections in two subjects of the Russian Federation — on elections of Legislative Assembly of St.-Petersburg and on elections of the Duma of Murmansk area. Absentee voting will not be used there".
