Penza, 24 December 2011. PenzaNews. 300 persons took part in the second meeting of not consent with the results of elections in the State Duma of Russia which had taken place near the former cinema “Rodina” in Penza on Saturday, December, 24th. The organizer of the action was the department of the regional committee of Communist Party of the Russian Federation. There were also the representatives of other political parties and also pensioners and members of public organizations at the meeting.

The acting reminded that during the last meeting of opposition in Penza which took place on December, 10th, the resolution with requirements to cancel the results of elections of the State Duma of Russia was signed and sent a number of officials in resignation, however for two weeks they haven't been satisfied.

The former deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Penza region Vladimir Popov admitted that the last elections united the people and made them go to the meetings.

Vladimir Popov underlined: “There are the representatives of various parties and the citizens who don’t want to be cattle. We should unite. And it is necessary for parties to struggle not among themselves but to achieve an overall objective. The voice of the people should be heard but it can be only during fair elections”.

He also offered to create the initiative group which should send applications to the investigatory committee and Office of Public Prosecutor on the revealed infringements of the last elections. According to Vladimir Popov, once a month at the street meetings the members of initiative group are to report about the work done and the results.

The secretary of Lunisky regional branch of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Oleg Seleznev urged to join Communist party which underwrote the “elective campaign of opposition of the power”.

Oleg Seleznev said: “Do you want to get to paradise on backs of 600 persons who are fighting for justice now? Many people are not satisfied with the representatives of Moscow party leaders, but there are new young leaders. As Zhukov and Rokossovsky led to the Victory, today Kamnev and Revunov came to unite the efforts of all at local level”.

According to the first secretary of the Penza regional committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Georgy Kamnev, there the same quantity of people at the second meeting and “it means that the society is ready to go up to the end to achieve the purposes”.

He said: “Today “United Russia” in spite of the miracle which was made by “wizard Churov” didn’t manage to get more than a half of votes and it can’t be a majority party. It is the main and the most important point”.

According to Georgy Kamnev, “United Russia” rating decreases steadily and “it means that there will be a second round of presidential election”.

The leader of the regional committee of Communist Party of the Russian Federation said: “I urged all public men who have an active citizenship to come to polling districts not only to vote but also to check the process of elections”.

Following the results of the meeting the resolution was adopted. There are the requirements to send the government in resignation, to appoint new elections in the State Duma, to return electivity of councilors of Federation and the heads of the regions and cities, to replace Central Electoral Commission structure, to allow the parties which have only 3 % of votes to be presented in the State Duma, to provide legality of elections of the president of Russia and etc.

The meeting on the square before a cinema “Rodina” in Penza proceeded about an hour, it was peaceful and come to the end without undue incidents. Nobody was arrested by police.
