Penza, 31 January 2012. PenzaNews. The agreement “About the control of voting and counting of votes in the course of voting summarizing on March 4 presidential elections of the Russian Federation in 2012 in the Penza region” was signed between association “Civil Control”, representatives of oppositional political parties and authorized representatives of some candidates.

“All participants of the agreement have one problem to unite efforts for fair voting procedure on March 4 presidential elections of the Russian Federation in 2012, to avoid falsifications during voting and counting of votes. The president of Russia should be elected fairly,” document text says.

The agreement provides that its participants “are free in the political preferences”, “carry out the activity during presidential election campaign irrespective of other participants,” and their interaction “is only to control voting and counting of votes.”
