According to preliminary results of presidential elections of the Russian Federation in the Penza region, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin received 59% of votes by 9 p.m. Moscow time. He is winning. Leader of Communist Party of the Russian Federation Gennady Zyuganov is the second with 24% of votes. The leader of LDPR Vladimir Zhirinovsky received 7% and took the third place. Businessman Michael Prokhorov, on preliminary results, came forth with 5% of votes in the Penza region, leader of the party “Just Russia” Sergey Mironov received 2.5% of votes.
