Penza, 22 June 2012. PenzaNews. The department of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation in the Penza region registered the regional branch of “The Party of Pensioners of Russia.” This was stated in an interview to news agency PenzaNews by the head of the department of non-profit organizations Olga Medvedeva on Friday, June 22.

“The regional branch of the Party has successfully passed the registration procedure. The corresponding entry was made in a unified state register of legal entities,” clarified the agency interlocutor.

The all-Russian political party “The Party of Pensioners of Russia” was registered by the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation on May 25, 2012 and received a registration number No. 0012060060.

The main tasks of the Party are the extension of spheres of influence, authority and capacities of regional and local government; the strengthening of the role and effectiveness of public organizations; the development of market economy oriented on strong social policy; the improvement of retirement security system; the development of housing services; the improvement of quality of life of Russian families; and the introduction of the status of “Children of War” for citizens born in the period from 1928 to 1945.
