According to the Head of the press service of the regional parliament Marina Timokhina, in the first appeal the members of the Legislative Assembly recommend to amend the federal law to designate two pensions for certain categories of citizens – social disability pension and social survivor pension.

“We are talking about children with disabilities who have lost one or both parents, representatives of I, II and III groups of disability who have lost one or both parents, and full-time students of educational institutions of all types and kinds, except for institutions of additional education till they become 23 years old,” clarified the agency interlocutor.

According to her, the second appeal addressed to the Head of Health Ministry of Russia proposes to include pedophilia in the mental disorder list of diseases suffering of which the citizens cannot be admitted to teaching.

“According to the officials, the lack of pedophilia in the list of contraindications does not allow the psychiatrist, in case of diagnosing the disease, to prevent the admission of the person to educational institutions for children. Eventually all that leads to irreparable consequences,” added Marina Timokhina.

She noted that the appeals will be considered at the 48th session which is to be held next Friday, July 6.
