Kuznetsk, 12 July 2012. PenzaNews. Sergey Zlatogorsky who was officially appointed head of the administration of the city of Kuznetsk, the Penza region, on Thursday, July 12, outlined the main directions of his work in the new position.

“The unanimous decision of the Kuznetsk board of representatives to support my candidacy for the post is much obliging. Credibility is very high. Now it is time to work. And first and foremost, the town should start working and earning itself to be able to develop. There is almost no industry in Kuznetsk. Our objective is to revive it in the short term,” Sergey Zlatogorsky told news agency “PenzaNews.”

The newly elected mayor said that he reckons upon the support of businessmen, ambitions and energy of who, according to him, should work for the benefit of the town and its residents.

“Moreover, the local self-administration should function in full force – people should learn to solve problems themselves rather than appeal to the authorities, that is, they need to switch from the mode “give” to “let’s get together,” emphasized Sergey Zlatogorsky.
