Penza, 12 September 2012. PenzaNews. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev visited the scientific-production association MedInzh during his trip to Penza on Wednesday, September 12. During the tour around the enterprise the head of the government was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich, Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov, Minister of Health Veronika Skvortsova, and Governor of the Penza region Vasily Bochkarev.

Director general of JSC SPA MedInzh Sergey Evdokimov informed Prime Minister that today heart valves manufactured by the company, take over 60% of the market in Russia and the CIS, and now a unique heart valve having no analogues abroad is being developed.

According to Sergey Evdokimov, among new products of the company are implants for replacement of organs and tissues made of biological materials, unique prostheses of hip joints and intervertebral discs of carbon, stents for arteries.
