Penza, 25 September 2012. PenzaNews. The Ministry of Education of the Penza region has announced a competition on the formation of the second convocation of the youth government of the region, young people aged from 20 to 30 years old are welcome to participate.

According to the Ministry, besides a set of documents, the competitors must submit a written work that highlights the current socially important problems in the field of politics, economics, social relations, law, and their solutions.

“At the first stage the written works will be assessed. The authors of the best works will be interviewed at the second stage,” the department explained.

Applications are accepted until 20 October 2012.

The youth government of the Penza region is a consulting and advisory body of the government of the region, initiated by the governor to develop the social component of the state youth politics, effective involvement of young people in its implementation, formation of active civil position, education and formation of personnel reserve for administrative structures, and involvement of scientific and creative potential of young people into the challenges faced by the executive authorities of the Penza region.

The structure of the youth government is similar to the Government of the Penza region. It consists of 12 members: the chairman, vice-chairman, heads of departments of the youth government, and other assistants of the listed people belonging to the personnel reserve and working groups. The number of departments and their activities correspond to the basic directions of the regional government.

In accordance with the regulations of the youth government of the Penza region, the authority of the first convocation ends in November 2012.
