Penza, 16 October 2012. PenzaNews. Alexander Kalashnikov appointed the Deputy Chairman of the government of the Penza region. Viktor Rubtsov the head of governor's staff management wrote about this in his on Twitter on Tuesday, October 16.

“The new Deputy Chairman will be responsible for construction,” he clarified.

As reported earlier, since 2010, Alexander Kalashnikov has been the head of Federal Highway Administration “Bolshaya Volga” of the Federal Road Agency, which is in charge of the federal roads in several regions of Russia, including the Penza region. In September it was reported that the management of the Federal Road Agency was not intending to prolong his contract.

From 1992 to 2004, Alexander Kalashnikov supervised administration of Penza.
