Secretary of the political council of the regional branch of United Russia, the head of Penza Ivan Belozertsev moves to the Legislative Assembly of the Penza region of the fifth convocation. This was announced after a meeting of the political council. In addition, it was decided to create the faction of United Russia in the regional parliament. Organizational meeting on this matter is scheduled for Monday, October 22.

According to the press service of the regional branch of the party United Russia, on the same day the speaker of the Legislative Assembly of the Penza region and the head of Penza will be announced.

“Their candidacies will be suggested by the delegates at the extraordinary conference of the regional branch of United Russia, scheduled for October 22. Secret voting will be held on a competitive basis,” the press service commented.

As reported earlier, the regional electoral list of United Russia had five candidates. Three of them — Sergey Baydarov, Lyudmila Glukhova, and Vladimir Kirillov — won in single-seat constituencies. The political council of the party suggested giving the parliamentary mandate of the governor of the Penza region Vasily Bochkarev to Alexander Eremkin.

Thus, all 34 members are identified. They will represent United Russia in the Legislative Assembly of the Penza region of the fifth convocation.
