Penza, 18 October 2012. PenzaNews. The Communist Party of the Russian Federation does not recognize the results of the elections to the Legislative Assembly of the Penza region held on Sunday, October 14. This was reported by the first secretary of the Communist Party Georgy Kamnev in an interview to news agency “PenzaNews.”

“The party observers registered over 100 violations at polling stations during the vote, including ballot box stuffing, “go-rounders,” document fraud and signature forgery. Each of the violations has been documented and directed as complaints to the law enforcement authorities,” he said, adding that last Sunday the residents of the Penza region “participated in another comedy act rather than elections.”

Georgy Kamnev underlined that at some polling stations the representatives of the Communist Party “faced the top of arrogance of the station electoral committee.”

“25 observers of the Communist Party were removed from the polling station No.52. What is significant is that each time the decision was made personally by the chairman of the station electoral committee without all members voting on this issue,” noticed the agency interlocutor.

According to Georgy Kamnev, several exit polls, which were analyzed by the Communists on the election day, showed that the party gained 20-30% of the votes.

“It seems that the situation had changed an hour before the voting ended, or after the polling stations were closed,” he suggested.

Georgy Kamnev also said that after the election, activists and supporters of the Communist Party are going to hold a meeting in the park named after V. Belinsky in Penza at 13.00 on Saturday, October 20.
