Yuri Alpatov put in nomination to head of Penza city

Penza, 22 October 2012. PenzaNews. Penza City Duma Deputy Chairman Yuri Alpatov put in nomination to the head of the city by the delegates of XVI extraordinary conference of United Russia held on Monday, October 22.

According to the press secretary of the regional office of the party Ekaterina Schneider, 135 out of 158 people taking part in a secret ballot voted for Yuri Alpatov.

“21 delegates supported an alternative candidate — Commercial Director of public corporation “Gorvodokanal” Viktor Vorobyev. Two ballots were declared invalid,” she specified.

Ekaterina Schneider also added that the question of Yuri Alpatov’s candidacy approval will be considered at the next session of the City Duma.
