Sergei Yegorov: There is no word of truth about me in pre-election article of Communist Party

Penza, 15 January 2013. PenzaNews. A member of the Legislative Assembly of the Penza region from United Russia Party, vice-chancellor for investment development of Penza State University Sergei Yegorov commented on his claims against the former candidate to the member of the regional parliament from the Communist Party, a student of History and Philology department of PSU Artem Koretsky, who he sued for spreading false information discrediting his honor, dignity and business reputation.

“The article published in the pre-election newspaper of the Communist Party, the responsibility for which lies on the defendant, does not contain a word of truth about me. Spreading false information is a mean and silly action, and every person should be responsible for what he or she does,” he said.

Sergei Yegorov explained the stir, caused by the pre-election article of the Communist Party by the desire to create a PR-field around the Party.

“I am not intending to participate in the show, arranged by these people. My presence in the court would be too honorable for them,” concluded the official.

Hearing of the case between Sergei Egorov and Artem Koretsky will be held at Zheleznodorozhny District Court of Penza at 10.00 on Friday, January 18.
