Penza, 11 February 2013. PenzaNews. The governor of the Penza region Vasily Bochkarev moved from 38th to 17th place in the media-rating of the heads of the subjects of the Russian Federation based on the results of January 2012, compiled by the National Monitoring Service.

“The leader of the rating is the head of Karelia Alexander Khudilaynen, who used to occupy 56th place. He commented on a number of social and political events,” the National Monitoring Service reported to news agency “PenzaNews.”

The organization noted that the second place went to the president of Ingushetia, Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, who gave an interview to newspaper “Kommersant,” where he called for abolition of direct election of regional governors.

“The third place belongs to the governor of Krasnodar Krai Alexander Tkachev, who said on Twitter about the decision to arm the Cossack brigade with traumatic weapons “in order the Cossacks to be able to fully protect the residents of the region,” the National Monitoring Service explained.
