“The governor of the Penza region Vasily Bochkarev criticized the city services’ work on cleaning the territory and told the mayor Roman Chernov to go to the hospital to meet the victims of the ice and tell them about his work on the improvement of the city,” she reminded.

She added that the head of Saratov administration Alexey Prokopenko also had a negative media-index (-49.02 points).

“The investigation sought his removal from the post of mayor pending completion of the investigation initiated against him on the facts of unsatisfied judgment. Subsequently, however, Saratov Regional Court dismissed this complaint,” explained Nadezhda Zhukovskaya.

According to her, the top of the list was taken by the mayor of Nizhny Novgorod Oleg Kondrashov, the head of Saransk Pyotr Tultaev, and the head of Ufa administration Irek Yalalov. Their media-index reached 187,53, 87 and 34 points respectively.

Russian Research Company “Medialogia” compiles ratings based on media-index, which is a quality indicator of the information field, which is formed around a company, brand or person by the Media.

In contrast to the indices based on a simple counting of the number of references, it assesses media reputation with regard to qualitative indicators: importance of the source of information, the nature of the reference, and its role in the text, and whether it is represented by direct or indirect speech.

The system evaluates the overall favorable media environment over a certain period of time by summing indices of all references to the subject.

Ratings are based on the Media, which includes over 10,7 thousand influential sources, including television, radio, newspapers, magazines, news agencies and Internet portals.
