The heads of all ministries and departments of the Penza region, as well as the directors of region-owned enterprises allowing ineffective or improper expenditure of budget funds will be released from their positions. This was announced by the governor Vasily Bochkarev during an operational meeting on Monday, February 25.

“In the first half of 2013 all the heads found guilty of funds misappropriation, will be deprived of bonuses, remunerations, and any other rewards to salary,” the head of the region said.

Vasily Bochkarev added that if during 2013 the official caught at ineffective budget expenditure does not correct his mistakes, he would be dismissed because of the loss of trust.

“I entrust the head of the governor’s staff department and the government of the region Viktor Rubtsov to send my statement in the form of letters to all heads of regional departments and region-owned enterprises,” he concluded.
