Penza, 11 March 2013. PenzaNews. The governor of the Penza region Vasily Bochkarev decided to make some officials take buses instead of state-owned vehicles. “I believe that the number of state cars used by the officials should be reduced by at least 30% in the nearest future,” he said during an operational meeting of the regional government on Monday, March 11. According to Vasily Bochkarev, the officials should use public buses when going on working visits to the areas of the Penza region.

“I suggest the authorities are provided with season tickets in order to travel to the required areas for free. And on the territory of the municipality they can drive around together with the head of the area in his state-owned car,” the governor noted.
