Penza, 12 April 2013. PenzaNews. The Republic of Belarus and the Penza region intend to achieve the trade turnover of 300 million dollars. This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Rusyi during a joint press conference with the governor of the Penza region Vasily Bochkarev on document signing.

Mikhail Rusyi said that by signing the plan of joint cooperation activities for 2013–2014, Belarus and the Penza region determined priorities in cooperation for the nearest future.

“The main points have been set, as well as the people responsible for their implementation. Incarnation of plans will enable us achieving the trade turnover of 300 million dollars,” the Deputy Prime Minister said.

The governor Vasily Bochkarev praised Penza delegation, calling its work fruitful.

According to his words, during the visit, an agreement was reached on a number of projects, including the establishment of joint footwear, clothing, furniture and agricultural enterprises.

It is expected that the delegation of the Penza region will take part in exhibition “Belagro,” and the Belarusians will come to Penza with a working visit in the current year in order to learn from the experiences in different areas of the economy, including mega-farms, the press service of the regional government told news agency “PenzaNews.”
