Penza, 8 May 2013. PenzaNews. Local authorities are taking all possible measures to improve traffic operation in Penza. This was stated by the head of the city administration Roman Chernov on Wednesday, May 8.

“Dear compatriots! At the moment, there is a topical issue of traffic jams on Penza roads. Right now we are not able to open Sursky bridge for traffic, however, we take all possible measures to improve traffic operation,” the mayor wrote in his blog.

He also noted that in the nearest future “there will be an opportunity to use the new driveway linking Okruzhnaya St and Arbekovo.”

“The new road is designed to eliminate traffic jams on 8 Marta St and unload city streets in general,” Roman Chernov clarified.
