Penza, 25 July 2013. PenzaNews. The founding conference of the All-Russia People’s Front in the Penza region took place in the regional library named after M. Lermontov in Penza on Thursday, July 25.

According to the press service of the government of the Penza region, the conference participants decided to set up a regional branch of the movement All-Russia People’s Front.

The conference involved the deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, co-chairman of the All-Russia People’s Front Olga Timofeeva, the chairman of the organizing committee of Penza All-Russia People’s Front Vyacheslav Kosmachev, founders and guests.

“Among the main tasks of the movement is honest monitoring of the situation in the country. It is important to feel what is happening around us. We unite people who have actual ideal in various fields, which can subsequently become the foundation of new decrees and laws,” Olga Timofeeva noted.

According to her, the All-Russia People’s Front is open to everyone regardless of party affiliation, to develop constructive solutions.

During the conference in Penza, the participants elected the regional headquarters, audit committee and its management.

Co-chairmen of the regional branch of the movement became the chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions Nikolai Kotov, the head of the regional vascular center of the Regional Hospital named after N. Burderko Mikhail Krasnov, and the director of the regional library named after M. Lermontov Marina Osipova.
