Penza, 7 August 2013. PenzaNews. The government regularly creates alternative left-wing communist parties and organizations in order to downgrade the Communist Party. This opinion was expressed by the first secretary of the regional committee of the Communist Party, the member of the Legislative Assembly of the Penza region Georgy Kamnev in an interview with news agency “PenzaNews.”

“They do not criticize the government or make it very phlegmatically,” the official said.

According to him, such projects are popping up all over Russia every year, but do not create any benefits for the people.

“Any sensible person understands that the most important thing is not what the politician says, but what he does. To date, no one except the Communist Party conducts mass public and non-public protest actions,” Georgy Kamnev emphasized.

The first secretary of the regional committee of the Communist Party also said that the members and supporters of the party do not consider representatives of such alternative unions as their political rivals.

“There were a lot of these organizations, and probably there will be more. We do not take it seriously. If they were real fighters, we would learn about them from the publications criticizing the authorities and from numerous announcements of meetings. However, these are “empty” projects,” he said.
