The members of the Federation Council of Russia should be more active when participating in the work of the youth movements and organizations in the region, thus contributing to the formation of future politicians. This opinion was expressed by Senator Vladimir Edalov during the Russian-Ukrainian Youth Forum “Our Solutions,” which is currently taking place in the Penza region.

“We need to recognize the power of the youth. The young generation of today can take serious steps. Speaking of the Federation Council, the senators should be more active when participating in all youth movements — only then will it bring good,” he said.

Commenting on the Russian-Ukrainian forum, Vladimir Edalov noted the relaxed atmosphere and mutual interest of the participants.

“That meeting we had today was productive. It was an open collar meeting with the representatives of various regions of Russia and our Ukrainian colleagues. Such events unite and promote further development,” the senator explained.

He added that young people should be bolder, offering specific steps to improve the lives of people.

“We must be honest, direct, not seeking for “easy money” and work every day for the benefit of our society,” Vladimir Edalov concluded.
