The meeting started about 40 minutes later than it was planned and was not well-organized.
The activists, most of who were teenagers, displayed hesitancy and poor awareness of the Russian legislation, constantly asking the authorities and officers if they were allowed to stream flags, march in a column and shout slogans.
After long discussions they managed to reach a consensus and paraded two circles in the designated for the meeting area, shouting: “Go, Russians,” “Glory to Russia,” “As long as we are together, we are invincible,” “One for all, and all for one.”
In addition, in the course of the meeting the participants were given leaflets with description of the draft amendments to the Constitution and the draft law “Assessment of the President and the Federal Assembly members of the Russian Federation by people of Russia.”
The press-service of the regional office of the ministry of internal affairs of the Russian Federation in the Penza region told news agency PenzaNews that 85 people took part in the meeting and 25 police officers provided protection of public order.
“There were no emergency incidents and disturbances of public peace,” the office said.
