Penza, 25 December 2013. PenzaNews. The Penza region was not included in the list of 20 regions that will get grants following the results of the assessment of efficiency of the executive authorities work for 2012.

The distribution of money in the total amount of over 5 billion rubles was approved by the decree of the government of the Russian Federation, which was signed by the Prime Minister of the country Dmitry Medvedev.

According to the explanatory note to the document, published on Wednesday, December 25, the draft decree was prepared by the Ministry of Regional Development of Russia.

Grant sizes were defined proportionally with the indexes of assessment of efficiency, which were received by the executive bodies of each constituent entity of Russia, to the combination of indexes of the regions that will get grants in 2013.

This decision is expected to encourage the regions and stimulate other constituent entities of the Russian Federation to improve efficiency of the executive authorities.

In accordance with the decree, the grants will go to Ingushetia, Tatarstan, Khakassia, Chechnya, the Krasnodar and Stavropol territories, the Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Leningrad, Magadan, Moscow, Novosibirsk, Ryazan and Tyumen regions, as well as Nenets, Yamalo-Nenets and Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrugs.
