Opposition promises to arrange protests if authorities increase public transportation prices

Penza, 10 January 2014. PenzaNews. Activists of the Penza regional committee of the Communist Party of Russia expressed their intention to arrange a number of protests if the local authorities decide to increase the public transportation prices. “Naturally, we will not ignore this audacious attempt to slip a hand in the pocket of the working people and will start protests against increasing fares for public transport,” the head of the press service of the Penza regional committee of the Communist Party of Russia Alexei Kostin told news agency PenzaNews on Friday, January 10.

According to him, communists have successful experience of confronting authorities in their attempt to plunder.
“The more people protesting against increasing of public transportation prices come out to the streets, the more successful our common struggle will be,” Alexei Kostin pointed out.
