There were four participants. They were holding posters reading “Freedom to prisoners of Bolotnaya!” “Putin will teach you to love Motherland!” “February 21 — sentence to prisoners of Bolotnaya!”
“Today Zamoskvoretsky Court of Moscow will announce the sentence to “prisoners of Bolotnaya Square.” These are the people who participated in the rally on May 6, 2012. There were the residents of Penza. We had around 30 people in our column. Thank God none of us was detained then. We are here to support people who were accused. We believe that they are innocent, they fought for truth, and ultimately suffered for their ideas, for justice,” the activist of “Left Front” Sergei Padalkin told news agency “PenzaNews.”
According to him, the decision to hold this action was taken in the morning on Friday, February 21.
Sergei Padalkin suggested that if it took place on a weekend, more Penza residents would have joined.
“Everybody is at work. But those who could came to support the prisoners,” the agency interlocutor said.
The action was peaceful. None of the activists were detained.
