Penza, 5 March 2014. PenzaNews. The governor of the Penza region Vasily Bochkarev lost 22 lines in the media rating of the heads of regions of the Russian Federation compiled by “Medialogia” in February 2014. His media index amounted to 471,31. According to the survey, last month Vasily Bochkarev appeared in about 970 publications in the media.

As a result, the governor of the Penza region managed to occupy only 68th line of the list.

Among the heads of the Volga Federal District Vasily Bochkarev is eleventh, which is two points less than a month ago.

As news agency PenzaNews reported earlier, in February 2014 the Ministry of Public Relations and Mass Communications of the Penza region, which was actually in charge of the information support of the governor, ceased to exist.

With the dismissal of the first and only Minister of Public Relations and Mass Communications of the region Alexei Ilika, the department was renamed back in the Department of information policy and media.

Earlier, the Ministry used to publish monthly progress reports on the official website. The last of these — in January 2014 — reports on the provision of work of the media on 105 events held in the Penza region, including 22 with participation of governor Vasily Bochkarev.

The report also specifies that the official website of the regional government published 112 news reports in the past month, 30 of them were devoted to the activities of the governor.
