Penza LDPR activists demand McDonald’s close down

Penza, 28 April 2014. PenzaNews. Activists of Penza regional division of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia came out with an appeal to close down “McDonald’s” restaurant chain. During the campaign by one of the restaurants on Suvorova street in Penza, the party representatives displayed signs that said “LDPR – for healthy food!” and “LDPR demands to close down McDonald’s!”

At the same time, a Russian folk ensemble entertained the bystanders with songs, and LDPR activists provided the citizens with tea, as well as blinchikis with condensed milk and sour cream.

“McDonald’s restaurants were closed down in Crimea. And since the historical record was put straight and the peninsula was merged into Russia, we demand the fast food chain to be closed down in the whole country. LDPR – for healthy food!” commented Mikhail Usov, coordinator for Penza regional division of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia, to agency “PenzaNews.”
