Penza, 21 May 2014. PenzaNews. A meeting of the governor of the Penza region Vasily Bochkarev and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Turkey Andrei Karlov was held in Ankara on Wednesday, May 21.

A trade representative of Russia in Turkey Taufiq Melikov also presented at the meeting.

The parties noted that currently the Russian-Turkish cooperation is actively developing interregional relations.

According to Vasily Bochkarev, the Penza region has a number of competitive advantages that it can offer to potential investors from Turkey.

“The Penza region has favorable conditions for business, and there are various measures to support investors. Attracting modern development that exist in Turkey, we can use them to upgrade our production in the region,” the governor said.

During the meeting they also discussed the projects which are being implemented in the Penza region by Turkish companies, the press service of the regional government informed.
