Vasily Bochkarev awarded medal of P. Stolypin II degree by Dmitry Medvedev

Penza, 5 June 2014. PenzaNews. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev presented the governor of the Penza region Vasily Bochkarev with the medal of P. Stolypin II degree.
As the press service of the regional government told news agency “PenzaNews,” the ceremony took place in Moscow on Thursday, June 5.
Th head of the region was marked by the highest award for achievements in strategic objectives of socio-economic development of the country and many years of hard work.
The medal of P. Stolypin is a reward of the Russian government established in May 2008.
An encouragement for merits in solving strategic tasks of socio-economic development, including long-term projects of the Russian government in the areas of the economy, such as industry, agriculture, construction, transport, science, education, health, culture and others.
As a rule, the medal is awarded to civil servants.
It has two degrees. I is the highest degree.
It is made of brass, circle -shaped, 34 mm diameter with raised rim on both sides. On the front side, there is an image of the bust of Pyotr Stolypin. At the top there is an embossed inscription “To the glory of Russia, for the benefit of the Russians,” at the bottom — “P.A. Stolypin.” On the flip side, is has an embossed inscription “The Government of the Russian Federation” and the number of the medal.
I degree medal is gilded, II degree – silvered.
The medal ids connected to a square block, covered with silk moire ribbon of blue. Over the ribbon, a two-headed eagle is attached, which holds crossed scepters.
