The head of administration of Penza Roman Chernov will take the position of the first deputy chairman of the regional government, which was vacated by Sergei Kamolov in March 2014. This was announced by the acting vice-governor of the Penza region Viktor Rubtsov on Friday, June 6.

“R. Chernov is coming to the government of the Penza region not instead of someone, but to take over the vacanted post of the first deputy chairman after the departure of S. Kamolov,” he wrote on Twitter.

As news agency PenzaNews reported earlier, on Thursday, June 5, the governor of the Penza region Vasily Bochkarev offered mayor Roman Chernov the position of the first deputy chairman of the regional government.

Later, the press office of the city adminisration announced that Roman Chernov had not submitted a report on termination of mayoral duties addressed to the head of Penza Yuri Alpatov so far.
