Penza, 13 June 2014. PenzaNews. Employee of administration of Sosnovoborsky area of the Penza region, who asked not to be named, addressed the governor over the Internet with a request to investigate the reasons for the delay in wages.

“Dear, Vasily [Kuzmich]. Maybe you can answer a question which could not be answered by our head. How can one live with no money? I am Sosnovoborsky area administration worker. We have just received an advance for April, and it is the middle of June now. How should I feed my children? Holidays are ahead, and we will have to spend them at home for there is no money for food,” the employee of the district administration wrote in the governor's blog.

In response, Vasily Bochkarev reported that, according to information provided to him, the workers of education and culture of the area is paid in a timely manner.

“At the same time, unfortunately, the delay of salaries to employees of Sosnovoborsky area administration and the finance department is being currently held back. The debt for the second half of April and the first half of May will be paid before June 20, the rest of the amount owed will be paid upon receipt of funds in the budget of the district,” the head of the region clarified not naming the causes of such delay.
