One of the areas that will be under the supervision of the former head of administration of Penza Roman Chernov in his new position in the regional government will be transport sphere. This was announced by the governor of the Penza region Vasily Bochkarev during a press conference on Friday, June 20.

“Transport is not just bus transportation, but railway and aviation. He is energetic, just the right one to help me,” the head of the region said.

Vasily Bochkarev stressed that Roman Chernov’s specific duties in the new position will be formed after the talks.

“I, Viktor Rubtsov and Roman Chernov will gather and outline the main duties of the two deputy prime ministers who have left, and define exactly what to give him. Of course, we will listen to what he wants to do, and meet half-way,” the governor said.

“He is younger, and I think he will pick up the work that I am doing personally,” Vasily Bochkarev noted.
