Penza, 24 June 2014. PenzaNews. Russian State Duma deputy from LDPR Anton Ishchenko supervising the Penza and Saratov regions commented for news agency PenzaNews on the bill “On Amending Article 96 of the Budget Code of the Russian Federation” adopted by the State Duma in the first reading.

“The document is an amendment to the Budget Code providing for the opportunity to place up to 7% of National Welfare Fund in Vnesheconombank. Deposit resigning, according to the Russian Finance Ministry, will increase the capital of Vnesheconombank in the amount of 220 billion rubles,” Anton Ishchenko said.

He compared the adoption of the proposed bill with the fairy tale “The Golden Key, or the Adventures of Buratino,” in which the protagonist buried five soldi on the field of miracles in the land of fools.

“Today we also want to bury more than 200 billion rubles. This is due to the fact that Vnesheconombank owes 200 billion rubles to the state. And they have no money due to the inefficiency of the bank,” he said.

Anton Ishchenko added that Russia continually forgives billions of dollars of debt to various countries of the world, and at the same time neither the government nor the majority of Duma deputies have not taken any serious steps to “de-offshore” the economy.
