Yuri Krivov nominated for mayor of Penza

Penza, 7 July 2014. PenzaNews. Yuri Krivov, currently the chairman of the regional government, was nominated for the post of the head of administration of Penza. This was stated in the letter of governor Vasily Bochkarev addressed to the city mayor Yuri Alpatov on Monday, July 7.

“Dear Yuri Petrovich [Alpatov]! In accordance with the Regulations on the procedure and conditions of the competition for the position of the head of administration of Penza, approved by the City Duma of Penza as of March 25, 2005 № 54-6/4, the Government of the Penza region nominates Yuri Krivov as the head of administration of Penza. According to the level of professional education, experience, merit Y. Krivov is suitable for the specified position,” the letter stated.

This decision of the head of the region has already been commented by the acting vice governor Viktor Rubtsov, who called it difficult, but verified.

“It is strange. There were so many conversations, discussions, perturbation, critics, suggestions... I mean the position of the head of administration of Penza and judgment of the work of the ex-head of administration. [Roman] Chernov left. And there it is [position] vacant. Competition was announced. Only one day before the end of reception of documents for participation in the competition, and there are no candidates! Where are all the know-alls and critics who were ready to lead the city and know how and what to do for the common good? I do not see them... The governor of the Penza region Bochkarev made difficult but verified solution. He can not leave a regional center without the head of administration to the mercy of fate and is giving up one of his best employees,” Viktor Rubtsov wrote in LiveJournal.

As news agency PenzaNews reported earlier, the competition for the position of the head of administration of Penza will be held on July 15.

Yuri Krivov was born on August 7, 1962 in Nikolsk, the Penza region.

In 1984 he graduated from the PSPI named after V. Belinsky majoring in history, social studies and English. Ph.D., associate professor.

After graduation he worked for five years as a teacher, organizer of extracurricular activities in schools of Zarechny.

In 1992-1994 — senior lecturer in pedagogy in PSPI named after V. Belinsky.

During 1994-1998 — the head specialist for innovative establishments of the ministy of education of the Penza region, the pro-rector on scientific and methodical work of Penza regional Institute of improvement of professional skill and retraining of workers of education.

In 1998-2002 — researcher, associate professor of pedagogy of PGPU named after V. Belinsky.

In 2003 he was appointed the head of the department for social policy of administration in Zarechny. Since February 2005 — the deputy head of administration of health and social welfare.

Since 2009 — the deputy head of administration of Zarechny on strategic planning and municipal innovation.
In June 2010 he was appointed the deputy chairman of the government of the Penza region — head of innovation policy and special projects.

On April 4, 2012 the Legislative Assembly of the Penza region unanimously approved the candidacy of Yuri Krivov as the chairman of the region's governments.

For his research project “The Community School: Russian Version of the end of XX century” and “Socialization of the individual in theory and history of domestic and foreign pedagogy” received grants of the Russian Humanitarian Scientific Fund of the Russian Government.

He was awarded the diploma of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and the diploma of the Federal Medical-Biological Agency (FMBA).
