Russian deputy prime minister and Penza governor discussed solutions to problems of Ukrainian refugees

Penza, 1 August 2014. PenzaNews. The issue of providing assistance to refugees from Ukraine was the main topic of the meeting of the deputy prime minister of Russia Dmitry Kozak and the governor of the Penza region Vasily Bochkarev, which took place in Moscow on Friday, August 1.
The social and employment issues of citizens of the neighboring state became the focus of the discussion.
“Almost 300 people were placed in Kirov and Volodarsky sanatoriums. In early August, we expect the arrival of over 100 citizens of Ukraine,” Vasily Bochkarev reported.
He also said that daily job fairs took place on the temporary accommodation sites, with almost three thousand vacancies and salaries ranging from 10 to 30 thousand rubles.
According to the governor, the enterprises have already signed 70 contracts with future employees through these fairs, and 37 more people will start their jobs on August 2.
Among the problematic issues are aspects of payment for documents of refugees’ legalization and deficit of temporary residence permit quota which amounts to 1.4 thousand in the Penza region, the press service of the regional government informed.
