Head of the region registered in the free photo and video exchange service using the nickname “Bochkarevvk.”

The first picture posted by the governor is the one of himself with a note: “Hello, instagrammers! I am Vasily Bochkarev, the governor of the Penza region. And this is my personal Instagram account. I hope you are interested.”

Then the head of the region added the pictures taken during the opening ceremony of the World Junior Diving Championship taken in sports palace “Burtasy” on Monday, September 8.

On one of the photos, Vasily Bochkarev is seen together with the famous divers Yulia Pakhalina and Dmitry Sautin.

The governor also shared his impressions after visiting Serdobsky area where, according to him, the farmers are growing 15-17 kg real Penza watermelons on 21 hectares of melon plantations.

“I’d like to say that our Penza watermelons are in no way worse than imported,” Vasily Bochkarev noted.
