Penza, 16 September 2014. PenzaNews. Andrei Baev was dismissed from the position of deputy chairman of the Penza region government, said Maxim Fomin, governor’s spokesman, to news agency PenzaNews on Tuesday, September 16.

However, he was unable to say exactly when Andrei Baev will leave the office, and state the reasons behind his dismissal.

“This information will be published on the government website when all the documents are ready,” Maxim Fomin commented.

As news agency news agency PenzaNews reported earlier, Viktor Rubtsov, governor’s staff department leader and chief of the regional government, twitted about the appointment of Andrei Baev to the position of deputy chairman of the regional government on September 4, 2014.

According to him, the new deputy chairman, who took over the office on September 8, was in charge of special projects, including the interaction and the development of relations with partners of the Penza region, including China and Turkey.

Andrei Baev had held this position before: he worked in the position of deputy chairman of the regional government from March 2010 to September 2011.

On September 23, 2011, he announced about the decision to leave the position to work in OJSC “Rostelecom” as deputy director of macro-regional branch “Volga” as a project management director in Nizhny Novgorod.
