“This year, Penza branch of the Liberal Democratic Party has conducted the most ambitious campaign of all regional branch time. The activists of our party put forward their candidacies for more than one thousand vacancies in local government,” he reminded.
According to Mikhail Usov, Penza regional branch of the Liberal Democratic Party won a small but very significant victory at the elections.
“Before 14 September 2014 there have never worked more than eight deputies from the Liberal Democratic Party at the same time in the Penza region. After the elections, the number of LDPR deputies tripled: from 8 to 24. Without a doubt, this is the best result of the party in the region,” the agency interlocutor underlined.
Mikhail Usov stressed that the average vote percentage of LDPR deputies at the recent elections amounted to 9%.
“This is two times higher than what the party achieved in the region in 2012 and 2013,” he said.
“Unfortunately, we were unable to form a faction in Penza City Council. But I assure the citizens who voted for LDPR deputies, that we will fulfill everything promised. I also do not give up the task of organizing LDPR faction in Penza City Duma and the Legislative Assembly of the Penza region,” the leader of the Liberal Democrats of Penza summed up.
According to the information available to news agency “PenzaNews,” the first conference of the newly elected deputies will be held in the assembly hall of hotel “Lastochka” at 12.00 on Saturday, September 27.
The agenda includes summarizing the results of the past election campaign, as well as setting the order of interaction of the newly formed deputy group of the party with the apparatus of Penza regional branch of the Liberal Democratic Party.
