Penza, 30 September 2014. PenzaNews. The head of Penza Viktor Kuvaytsev, elected to this position by deputies of the City Duma of the sixth convocation on Wednesday, September 24, vacated the position of rector of Penza State Agricultural Academy (PSAA).

As Larisa Bychkova, head of staff department of PSAA told news agency “PenzaNews,” the order of head dismissal came to the Academy from the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, which is the founder of the university, on Tuesday, September 30.

“Viktor [Kuvaytsev] was on vacation, during which he traveled to Moscow. In the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia he wrote a letter of resignation. Monday [September 29] was his last working day as rector,” the agency interlocutor explained.

She added that it is still unclear who will be acting rector of the Academy.
