“Vladimir Maltsev left Penza region gov deputy PM office,” he wrote in his Twitter.

As of now, Mikhail Kosoy, the chairman of the regional government, has two first deputies, Vladimir Volkov and Alexei Ryabov, and four regular deputies — Valery Bespalov, Vyacheslav Orel, Sergei Pulikovsky, and Dmitry Semenov.

Vladimir Maltsev has been working as the deputy chairman of the Penza region Rospotrebnadzor branch, and was assigned on the position of the deputy PM of the regional government on social issues in July 2013.

Last Thursday, November 20, Vasily Bochkarev announced his plans to lay off two deputy prime ministers in the government. Afterwards, he added that “staff cuts will affect those who had no capabilities to work well and fully use resources.”

Victor Rubtsov later commented the changes in the regional government and added that Alexei Ryabov has been promoted to the office of the first deputy PM on all social areas.
