“Belarus did not resume customs checks. These are normal measures aimed to prevent smuggling. Recently, there was a lot of complaints on the quality of food imported from Belarus. They are false: our sanitary services are working hard to supply the RF with quality items. We must unite coordinated activities of custom, veterinary and sanitary services and set up strict guidelines on cooperation for successful customs safety,” the emissary told the journalists.
He added that Belarus follows the principles of the Customs Union and the United Economy Space.
“Our border services are strictly following the mutually agreed responsibilities and documents,” the press service of the Belarus embassy in Russia quotes Igor Petrishenko.
