Penza, 19 January 2015. PenzaNews. Readiness level of the Penza region sportsmen in the wake of the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games will be one of the main topics of the next meeting of the regional government that will take place in the Belinsky area of the city on Thursday, January 22.

The first chairman of the Penza region Physical Education and Sports Committee, Artur Panteleev, will make a speech on the issue.

According to information available on the official website of the regional government, the meeting will also be dedicated to two other pressing issues.

In particular, the authorities will listen to the report of Vasily Chernyshov, head of the Belinsky area administration, and Alexander Belozertsev, deputy minister heading the Forecast And Strategic Development Department of the regional Ministry of Economy. The report will be dedicated to strategic targets and plans for regional development.

Moreover, Evgeny Shilov, head of the Department of Culture and Archive, will tell the deputies about the results of the 2014 Year of Culture campaign.
