Penza, 12 February 2015. PenzaNews. Alexander Voronkov, former head of the Department of Information Policy and Media of the Penza region, has been assigned acting Minister of Education.

According to Victor Rubtsov, governor’s staff department leader and chief of the regional government, the decision was made by the governor Vasily Bochkarev.

As PenzaNews agency reported earlier, the seat of the Education Minister in the Penza region remained vacant after Svetlana Kopeshkina left it for retirement.

Before Alexander Voronkov and starting Monday, February 9, Guzyal Batkaeva, first deputy to the Education Minister, had acted as the head of the Education Department.
